A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL - MRS. REYES

Mrs. ReyesI am thrilled and excited to be a part of the amazing staff at Grace Yokley as your Principal. I have been in education for many years, earning a Master's Degree in Education. I have been fortunate to have worked in several different capacities, allowing me to have insight in numerous educational positions.

I pride myself on the positive relationships I build with students and staff. Being the Principal allows me to have a positive connection with all students and create an environment that is safe, inviting, and meaningful.

I thoroughly look forward to the journey that lies ahead for your children and our staff.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR DEAN OF STUDENTS - MRS. STANTON

VALERIE STANTON

I am honored to serve as the Dean of Students at Grace Yokley. I have over 17 years of experience in education, working in both administration and counseling. Before stepping into this role, I was fortunate to support our students and families as a School Counselor. I hold Master's Degrees in School Counseling and Educational Administration, and I'm proud to support students not only academically, but as whole individuals--with their own strengths, needs, and stories.

I'm passionate about helping students thrive--academically, behaviorally, socially, and emotionally. I believe every challenge is a chance to grow, and I'm committed to helping students learn from their experiences and build confidence. I look forward to continuing the great work already happening at Grace Yokley to ensure all students feel included, respected, and set up for success.

It's a privilege to work alongside our staff and families to help keep our campus a safe, respectful, and welcoming place for every student.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR COUNSELOR - MRS. SUGIMOTO

Nicole SugimotoI am excited and grateful to serve the students, families, and staff of Grace Yokley as the School Counselor. I bring over 10 years of experience in education, mental health, and student support. I hold a Master’s Degree in Educational and Clinical Counseling and am registered through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Prior to this role, I served as Grace Yokley’s Mental Health Intervention Specialist.

I’m passionate about supporting students' social, emotional, and academic growth, and I believe that strong relationships, early intervention, and collaboration are key to helping students succeed. My goal as a school counselor is to create a welcoming environment where every student feels seen, supported, and rooted in a sense of belonging.

I’m grateful to be part of the Grace Yokley community and look forward to continuing this important work with our students, families, and staff.
