Recognition Programs

Awarded at the end of the year, based on cumulative GPA for the entire year.  Requirements for earning year end academic honor roll are listed in the student handbook.  These awards are presented at an end of the year awards program.

Athletic Awards

Scholar Athlete is awarded at the end of the year for one 7th and one 8th grade student.  The award is presented at an end of the year awards program.

Student of the Month

Teachers nominate 2 students per grade level each month based on a preset monthly character trait. 

Special Subject Awards

Each department nominates one 7th and one 8th student at the end of the year to receive the subject award (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, and Music).  These awards are presented at an end of the year awards program.

Renaissance Awards

Renaissance awards recognize academic achievement each quarter.  These awards are given out by our Leadership Class.  

Citizenship (Citizens of the Year)

Awarded yearly to one student in both 7th and 8th grades.
