MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL - MRS. REYES

I am thrilled and excited to be a part of the amazing staff at Grace Yokley as your Principal. I have been in education for many years, earning a Master's Degree in Education. I have been fortunate to have worked in several different capacities, allowing me to have insight in numerous educational positions.     

I pride myself on the positive relationships I build with students and staff. Being the Principal allows me to have a positive connection with all students and create an environment that is safe, inviting, and meaningful.

I thoroughly look forward to the journey that lies ahead for your children and our staff.

MESSAGE FROM OUR DEAN OF STUDENTS - MR. CHAVEZ

I am extremely excited to be your Dean of Students. I come from a mental health background with a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My prior positions in other school districts, including school counselor, as well as other child-centered positions with various agencies, have prepared me for this role.

I take great pride in establishing relationships with students and their families, and meeting them where they are at.  My position as Dean of Students allows me to establish these relationships, and use my previous experiences and training to build positive experiences for each student. My goal is to make Grace Yokley a memorable experience and ensure that our students, families, and staff are heard and understood.

I am excited to continue the Grace Yokley tradition of Family. There are great things to come and I am looking forward to this journey with our GYS families.
